craft ocd with ginger & pep

Isn’t it good to know you are not alone? Imagine my relief when my buddy, art director and craft goddess Christine Leech of Ginger & Pep sent me these photos.
You see, while sane people were enjoying the sunshine last week, Teeny took time out from working on very exciting top secret book project (details TBC) to take advantage of the weather in a different way. She chucked all the fabric scraps she has been squirreling away under her bed out the bedroom window and into her garden. Not only do I have boxes of fabric that are bursting to be used, but as I am not one for outdoor activities, this is the kinda fresh air frolic you can sign me up for!

What resulted was a fairly neat array of folded and perfectly plump piles of fabric – what every fabricaholic dreams of – ready for her next project. Possibly inspired by her trip to the garden, Christine also took a selection of her prettiest remnants and crafted some floral garlands in preparation for It’s Darling!, Bath’s Handmade & Vintage fair on July 17th. If you are in that neck of the woods, grab them while they are still in bloom.

Ginger & Pep craft and create amazing bespoke fabric and paper projects. For more information, you can get in touch via gingerandpep@gmail.com.
