It’s Easter. I’m home. I am baking cake for 90 people. I have a stinky cold. And I need something to make me smile…
Now, I’m not a big Easter-lover, and I never have as much fun with this holiday as I do with, say JC’s birthday, but I still admire the egg-based attention that people pursue.
My personal lackadaisical-ness perhaps comes from growing up in a Greek Orthodox home where all Easter eggs were dyed red, there was no Easter Bunny, but instead a gallery of sombre looking emaciated Orthodox Saints, and firecrackers. No fun stripes and polka-dots for this little crafter.
So I was thrilled when I saw Cirque Des Oeufs, the free downloadable printables from Christine at SewYeah!
Between cranking out books (Everything Alice, Everything Oz, Felt Sew Good and Little Sew & Sew) and a day job, Christine cranked out the cutest easy-peasy-freebie way to decorate your eggs in a flash.
Go to SewYeah! to download the template below now, and check in with Christine’s other inspiring projects.
Print, snip and go. It is that simple and that adorable.
Thanks Christine – you are eggs-quisite…
