Year seven and the door to Christmas is wrapped and ready…
Luckily forewent wallpaper and found the perfect Sanna Annukka-esque wrapping paper at Crate & Barrel last year.
stay home & feather
A British favourite followed us to Toronto to make our first Christmas full of a few cheeky home comforts and glittery gorgeousness…
Just when we may have been feeling a little nostalgic for the British high street, we got word that Paperchase would be opening in Toronto, and brilliantly just in time for our first Christmas in Canada…
In an ongoing quest to bring over the best of British, the pride of Canadian heritage retail, the Bay, was smart enough to snap up this British treasure.
If you know Paperchase like we know Paperchase, then you know why we are particularly excited.
Between their mix of well designed own brand stationery, their clever pick of super-smart branded gifts and accessories, and their surprisingly reasonable prices, it’s all a bit win-win-win.
Now Toronto is a great stationery town, with every type of specialty and craft paper available, but there is nothing quite like this British import. This mecca of variety covers every possible take on stationery and design. From kitsch to classic, chic to cheeky, their three-storey London flagship was always a bountiful cornucopia. And never more than at Christmas.
And this Christmas was no exception, with the highlight being their woodland themed Nordic Nights range.
The Bay concessions, both on Queen Street and in Sherway Gardens, may be small but mighty curations of the Paperchase offer, but they are an ever so appreciated start.
Our Christmas wish is that Canada embrace Paperchase like they should, and a flagship be on the cards by next Christmas…
